Teaching Speaking Through Story Telling: South Sulawesi Folktales and Its Influence to the Students Speaking Competence

In the world of globalization, communication plays a vital role in getting success all fields. Language is used as tool for communication, The objective research certainly intend to answer and solve problem statement which has been stated before it’s aim this thesis. line with question above, objectives are (1) To figure out extend using South Sulawesi folktales by storytelling method can improve students speaking competence. (2)To find responses towards teaching speaking. doing study, quasi experimental requires careful collection, analysis, interpretation quantitative data. based on data analysis it be concluded that result pretest posttest scores class control class, we could see score was higher than pretest.
